What is the best way to prepare for the Salesforce ADM 201 exam?

It's not an easy test.

And it's getting harder.

It all depends on how you learn best, but, you will discover during taking the test that a lot of the questions are purposefully worded to be very confusing... you really can't study enough for it.   In fact, a lot of people with the ADM301 (Advanced admin) credential say that ADM 201 is much harder.  You will also come to the conclusion after taking the test that Salesforce probably doesn't want you to pass the test -- so study hard.   It's much harder than DEV401.

 Some people are really big on learning from videos.  Personally, I think thre simply aren't enough videos out there to efficiently study for the exam -- it covers so many topics;  setup, interface, security, tasks and management, data management, content, communities, workflows.... and even a lot of things that aren't even on the syllabus.

 Some people are big on going to class. Me?   I never took a class, but a lot of people at work did and still failed the test.  I personally just take notes and keep refining them.  My final set of notes before taking the test was down to about 90 pages.... I was reading them in the car while my wife drove me to the test center.   
Also online tests at click here are great - but you have to verify that the answers are accurate - there's a lot of bogusness to some of the ADM201 quizes.
